Fields of Mistria reveals key features in March update

Fields of Mistria Developer NPC Studio has released an update on the game's content roadmap, detailing some features that will arrive in a major update scheduled for March 2025. The upcoming features Fields of Mistria in March includes a new villager, a gift hint mechanic, additional dialogue options and a new area to explore.

As one of the groundbreaking indie games of 2024 Fields of Mistria draws inspiration from 90s anime and cozy life simulations, e.g Harvest Moon And Stardew Valley. In the titular village of Mistria, players can transform an overgrown homestead into one of several different farms and help restore the town after a devastating earthquake and strange magical events that followed. Fields of Mistria confirmed on social media that its second major early access update will go live in March 2025, but an exact date has not been given at the time of writing. Fields of MistriaThe second update introduces the draconic Caldarus as a potential romantic NPC, but it remains to be seen how their story will unfold. Currently, the Caldarus Statue serves as a way for players to spend skill points. Additionally, a new Elsie Gift Hint mechanic will be available, making it easier for players to identify an NPC's preferred items. The Renown level cap will be increased from 70 to 90, and new spells, monsters, and skill perks will be added for players to try out.

In addition to more spells, cosmetic items, and reputation level rewards, the door is open to more added features Fields of Mistria's early access roadmap, dependent on player feedback. Only time will tell how NPC Studio will gain momentum during early access.
