A new trailer for the anime was also released, confirming the premiere date and episode name. The first episode is titled “Heroic Spirit Incident.”

Fate/strange Fake is based on the light novel of the same name by Ryogo Narita, illustrated by Morii Shizuki. In 2022, Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn was announced. The film was originally scheduled to be released in theaters on December 31, 2022, but had to be postponed due to production-related problems. Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn was finally released on July 2, 2023.
The anime series was announced during Anime Expo 2023. The first episode of Fate/strange Fake aired at the 20th anniversary event, but the global release will take place on December 31, 2024.
Fake/strange Fake takes place around the time of a Grail War that was copied from the Third Holy Grail War. After the end of the war, a US organization obtained data from the Fuyuki Grail War. After all, they use Snowfield as a sacred land for their own ritual. However, their failure to copy every single aspect results in strange minions being summoned.
