The Adventures of The Blade Of Frontiers
Baldur's Gate 3 is characterized by seemingly infinite possibilities and outcomes, as each choice has a profound impact on how the story unfolds and how it ultimately ends. This also applies to your allies, whose fate will be determined by your decisions throughout your adventures and who may end up taking a completely different path than their original goals.

Baldur's Gate 3: The 9 biggest differences when playing as Wyll
If you're playing as Wyll in Baldur's Gate 3, you can expect to see these changes in your playthrough.
Wyll, the Edge of Limits is a perfect example. Originally tasked with killing a certain “demon,” young Ravengard's existence could change forever. Whenever you decide to take him with you as your faithful companion, the consequences for our favorite warlock are numerous. Giving him that horny look is just the beginning.
Lost in the grove
Since he has no interest in bloodshed, Wyll will leave your party if you choose to attack the Emerald Grove with Minthara. He usually tries to warn the grove, but will stay with the party if you convince him that this is a trap for the goblins.
If you still choose to betray the Tieflings with him in your party, Wyll will become hostile and you will be forced to kill him. If he is in your camp during the attack instead, he will leave the camp during the Goblin Celebration.
Similar, If you never recruited Wyll, his body will be found after the battle if you side with the goblins. If you side with the Tieflings but never recruit him, he will simply stop appearing in subsequent acts once you head to Act 2.
An early visit to hell
In the second act, Mizora asks the player for help in rescuing a servant of Zariel (the ruler of Avernus) from the hands of the Absolute. The servant is none other than Mizora herselftrapped in an illithid capsule. You will meet them once you reach the mind flayer colony below the Moonrise Towers.
If you choose to abandon Mizora or kill her, Wyll will immediately be sent to Avernus as a Lemure for all eternitya blobby monster destined to be tortured day after day. This is because he broke a clause of his pact by neglecting his duty. This happens even if Wyll were not the one condemning his patron. So I wouldn't ignore them if you care about him in the slightest.
Duke Ravengard
After completing Wyll's character quest (The Edge of the Edge) by defeating the dragon Ansur in Act 3, Wyll is given the choice to follow in his father's footsteps and become the next Duke of Baldur's Gate.
You can encourage him to lay down his blade and pursue a political life, and he will assume the position once you deal with the Netherbrain. To reach this conclusion, it is not necessary to save his father.
During Withers' Epilogue Party, you'll have the opportunity to meet the newest Duke. Wyll's personal struggles and successes depend on the choices you made throughout your playthrough. He will comment on how annoying his horns can be when he becomes a demon, for example.
He wants to rule alongside three other dukes, including Florrick and his father Ulder Ravengard, if they are still alive. He is still looking for another ruler and invites the player to take on that role if you have a romance with him.
When his pact with Mizora is broken, she is nowhere to be found, and Wyll mentions that he has learned some new tricks of his own. When he is still her servant, she always stays by his side in human disguise, much to her amusement and his annoyance. No matter the situation, Wyll wants to rebuild the city and forge as many alliances as possible.
The Blade of Avernus rises
If Wyll becomes a demon and you complete his quest, but don't encourage him to become a duke and say he's a hero instead, He will take on a new title as the Blade of Avernus. After accepting his new nature, he begins hunting demons and fiends right in Avernus. Six months later he is called to Withers' party.
You can accompany him on this new path if you pursue a romance with himand you both will be invited to the epilogue later. In the afterword he enthusiastically talks about his dejected traces. If you went to hell together, he will remember how the two of you defeated her instead.
Similar to other endings, There are some differences depending on how you went about your adventures. He mentions how proud his father is of him for being alive, and that Mizora is surprisingly relaxed about his new goal of allowing him to freely hunt all of Avernus' enemies if they are still bound to a treaty.
However, when their pact is broken, he mentions that she is his next target and is currently looking for a way to find her and defeat her once and for all. He is now a ranger, having lost his warlock powers.
This end also has another branch. When Wyll becomes the Blade of Avernus after defeating the Netherbrain and you complete Karlach's character quest, he offers to return to Avernus at her side and vows to protect her from Zariel.
She agrees and they both look for a final solution for Karlach's heart in Avernus. In the epilogue he will talk about their adventures together and they have become much closer in these six months. Of course you can also be there if you want. Probably the best possible ending for Karlach and also a great one for Wyll.
The Adventures of The Blade Of Frontiers
Wyll will retain his original title if you manage to complete his personal quest without turning him into a demon and choose not to be a Dukeor if you don't complete his quest at all.
Failing to complete the quest works for both human and demon Wyll. This is the only way he can end up as a demon.
This ending is quite similar to the Blade of Avernus route. The most notable difference is the monsters he kills (Creatures like dragons and giants instead of demons). Of course, the Karlach Duo ending can't happen since he has no reason to go to Avernus.
His relationship with his father and Mizora is also largely the same, although small details have been changed to reflect his situation. Wyll remains essentially the same as when you first met himSo while this isn't a bad ending per se, it's not the best either. At least he stays alive and happy.
