Disney Dreamlight Valley's The second expansion, Storybook Vale, introduced fans to the vast world of Storybook Vale. This world features three magical biomes with individually unlocked areas and many new items and fish. But not everything you catch is a fish. You can also fish some items like Posidonia, which can be used for crafting, similar to Plastic Scrap from A Rift in Time.

There's not much you can do with Posidonia Dreamlight Valley as it is only used in a few crafting recipes. However, players will need it to complete some early quests in Storybook Vale. So it's good to know where to find it, and that's exactly what this guide will show you.

How to get Posidonia in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you know the location, getting Posidonia is pretty easy. First, go to the Mythopia biome and find a body of water. To catch it, the fans have to do it Fish in places without bubbles. Be careful not to cast your line in blue, white, or gold waves as this will result in fish like Hippocampus and Stygian Mudspringer.

When fishing Posidonia, you may also catch flying fish, as they can also be found in places without bubbles in Mythopia. Don't worry, though, because you'll still catch plenty of Posidonia along the way. If you like decorating your valley, it would be a good idea to collect a large amount of Posidonia as they are very easy to get.

Also, be sure to bring a fishing buddy with you. They can give you additional Posidonia every time you catch a Posidonia. Simply talk to a character and select the “Let’s Hang Out” option. If you don't see this option, it may be because your friendship level is not at least level two. So work on that first.

How to use Posidonia in Dreamlight Valley

Players need Posidonia to complete some quests Dreamlight Valley. For example, it's used to make flower extract during Flynn Rider's quest “An Old-Fashioned Heist,” and you'll also need to give Hades five pieces for his friendship quest “Mythic Restoration.”

Here are the materials needed to make flower extract:

• 2 x White Rose

• 2 x Olive Green Tale Cone Flowers

• 2 x honeydew melons

• 8 x Posidonia.

In addition to the flower extract, fans can use Posidonia to craft a range of furniture and decorative items. Some examples of these articles are:
