PUBG: Battlegrounds is one of the oldest titles in the battle royale genre. For many, it remains one of the best battle royale games, despite the plethora of titles released in the genre in the years since its launch in 2017. Thanks to its continued popularity, developer PUBG Studios has been able to continually update the game with new content to this day. It's great to see that a developer doesn't rest on his laurels after success, but continues to dedicate himself to creating PUBG: Battlegrounds the best game it can be.

In an explosive trailer, PUBG Studios revealed that destructible environments and buildings are created PUBG: Battlegrounds' Sanhok card on December 4th. A bridge is blown up, players destroy a small town in the heat of battle, new trenches are created in the grass to serve as cover for the players, and even a wall is breached with explosives. It's an epic look at what players can expect when they return to Sakhok after the release of this update. PUBG's destructible environments are coming to Sanhok
The Destructible Environments feature was already available in the Rondo map PUBG: Battlegrounds' 29.1 update earlier this year, but this is the first time it's coming to Sanhok. Since this is a map that has been around since 2018, this should provide a huge shake-up in how the game is played going forward. It's always going to be a challenge to bring a fresh look back to a map when players are so familiar with it, but destructible environments are a great way to achieve this without fundamentally changing the layout. While Sanhok's destructible environments will bring something new to the game's immediate future, that's not the only thing fans have to look forward to.
