DBSZ's 'Best What If' reveals the roster's biggest blind spot

Each Sparking episode offers its own fun factor, but there are still some that stand out from the rest. Some Sparking episodes don't necessarily pose an interesting question, but simply serve as a slightly different ending. This character quickly becomes a highlight of the game, although his exclusion from the roster is beyond disappointing.

Gohan Black was intended to become a playable character in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

The Strongest Warrior achieves something that has never been attempted in any other episode Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. An aptly named alternate version of Goku Black, Gohan Black is a new character that is completely original Sparking zero. Gohan Black easily represents the best that Sparking Episodes has to offer, and it's a shame he isn't already playable.

To a certain extent this is somewhat understandable. This raises the question of how long fans might have to wait for him to become playable, assuming he is playable at all. It would be particularly unfortunate if Gohan Black didn't become playable, since he's essentially alone in this concept. In a Sparking episode, Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan much earlier, resulting in a unique form, but one that is noticeably different. While the original design for Vegeta could be limited to a costume, it would be a shame for Gohan Black not to make full use of his powers.

Gohan has always been a fan favorite and Goku Black has been a similarly popular part of it Dragon Ball Super. The combination of the two characters is not uncommon, but it is a pleasant surprise to watch Sparking zero Take such a bold step. Gohan Black is not yet playable, although some are Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Leaks suggest this could change. Regardless, it would be a shame Sparking zero developing such an interesting concept, only to never realize its full potential.
