One of the most important missions in Cyberpunk 2077 is optional and some players may have never seen it or didn't know how to complete it properly. Obtain and complete the Chippin' In mission in Cyberpunk 2077 is crucial to the secret ending and also gives them a few extras along the way, like how to get Johnny's car, his gun and his jacket in a mission.
Chippin' In Cyberpunk 2077 is an integral part of the relationship between V and Johnny. Therefore, after act three, every player's top priority should be to complete it and tick all the boxes to ensure the greatest possible success. Below are the specific dialogues players will need to select, as well as information on how to complete Chippin' In.
How to unlock the Chippin' In mission in Cyberpunk 2077
Once players complete the main job search and destruction, they can begin the third act Cyberpunk 2077 and talk to Johnny. V suffers a relic attack and wakes up in an abandoned hotel in Pacifica, beginning the final part of the tapeworm quest. Johnny and V have a heart-to-heart talk, during which Johnny offers V his old dog tags. Regardless of what players think about Johnny, it is important to select the following dialogue options to unlock the Chippin' In quest:

- So I tell Rogue everything?
- Tell me what you're up to.
- OK. I'm giving you control.
By selecting these dialogue options, V agrees to give Johnny control of his body just to speak with Rogue in the afterlife, thus activating the quest chain for Chippin' In. Now all players have to do is go downstairs to the Afterlife club, where Johnny asks if V is ready, to which V has to answer:

Once V takes the pills and Johnny takes control, players are treated to an interactive cutscene of Johnny's wild night in Night City. There aren't many things to consider in this funny scene, and no decisions affect the quest or the future of Johnny and V's relationship. So you're free to choose what Johnny wants to drink, what pill he wants to take, and whether he would Rather give V a billy goat tattoo of “the other,” a love heart that says “V + Johnny.” At the end of this quest, Rogue wakes up V and now players just have to wait a full 24 hours for Rogue to call.
Meet Rogue in the afterlife
To speed up the process, players can select the “Skip Time” option in their interactive menu and wait a full 24 hours. Afterwards, Rogue V will call and tell them to meet her in the afterlife. As she does so, she reveals a present in the trunk of her car, that is a replica of Johnny Silverhand's jacket. Although it doesn't offer any bonuses, it's nice to get a free piece of Johnny's outfit to complete the look. From here, players just need to hop in the passenger seat and enjoy the ride with Rogue as she heads to the Northside Shipyard Docks, where they need to get to the Ebunike to find Adam Smasher.
Find the data term
Once V and Rogue arrive at the docks, they are tasked with reaching the data term. Rogue may want to proceed stealthily here since the docks are full of Maelstrom. However, this has no effect on the mission and players can either shoot their way to the data term or sneak through. For greater immersion, we decided to complete this portion of the mission stealthily, using data hacks to distract enemies, disable cameras, and stealthily get to the data terminal. Once players arrive at the Dataterm, they must access it and read through the messages and then Ebunike, which will then activate the next step of the quest.
Defeat Jeremiah Grayson on the Ebunike
Regardless of whether players opt for stealth or full-on action, as soon as they go up the stairs to the Ebunike, they will be spotted and attacked by Maelstrom and Jeremiah Grayson. Defeat all enemies and then talk to the wounded Grayson where he is The goal of the quest is to get Johnny Silverhand's weapon by him: the famous Malorian Arms 3516. Once claimed, players can question Grayson for information about Adam Smasher, but it leads to nothing. From this point on, players will want to select the option:

Talk to Johnny in the oil fields
Once the players reach the oil fields, Johnny becomes a little sad, knowing that his body was simply thrown into the trash heap. This moment is crucial for those who seek friendship with Johnny Silverhand and for those who want to unlock that friendship Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending. The specific dialogue chain for the ending of (Don't Fear) the Reaper is as follows:
- [Sit] Are you expecting a gravestone?
- [Inscribe Johnny’s initials] Let's do something about it.
- “The guy who saved my life.”

- OK. But as far as second chances go, this is your last.
