The biggest element of the update, released on November 20th, is Magikrab's Gauntlet. This new gameplay system is available to players who have completed the Land of Confusion and Take Me On quests and can be picked up at Night's Bridge Station for a chance to win powerful rewards. A trailer released alongside the update shows players boarding a train and taking part in an endless series of random battles Cassette beasts partner. According to the official patch notes, the new gauntlet will see players face off against bosses and rivals they've faced in the past, and some new enemies will be added in increasingly difficult match-ups. This gauntlet can be completed alone or with an invited friend via the game's online multiplayer system.
In addition to the new game mode, there are some special features Cassette beasts are now available to players in Gauntlet Mode and Multiplayer Raids. In these game modes, players can now use items and change their partner's NPC band. They can also perform a merger with their partner's NPCs, which should add a lot of additional versatility and strategic gameplay to the two game modes.
Another late addition to the game comes from Ranger Wilma, who will now offer Sticker Fusion services Cassette beasts. As with Magikrab's Gauntlet, this feature only becomes available after players complete both “Land of Confusion” and “Take Me On.” Therefore, new players should not expect to be able to use them right away. Along with these features, the update allows players to remove quests on the Ranger Bulletin Board that they no longer wish to complete by speaking to Frankie at Town Hall, although this will cost fused materials.
