Xbox has quietly ensured that no one will be able to play Black Ops 6 for $1 when it arrives on Game Pass next week.
Although Black Ops 6 will be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on day one – more on that later – some of you may still want to own a copy of the next CoD game, especially if you don't own an Xbox. There are multiple editions to choose from and each edition comes with various pre-orders and bonuses, all of which are detailed below to help you make your decision by launch day.
Differences between Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 editions and pre-order details
Black Ops 6 has a Standard Edition and a Vault Edition. Of course, the Vault Edition is slightly more expensive than the basic version – $70 for Standard, $100 for Vault – But you can see everything you get for the extra $30 below and evaluate whether it's worth it for you.

Both editions of Black Ops 6 previously included access to the beta as a pre-order bonus, but if you've stopped buying the game by now, you've already missed out.
If you pre-order any of the game's editions, you'll get the Woods Operator Pack, but there's a catch. The pack is intended for use in Modern Warfare 3, not Black Ops 6. The good news is that the bonus will unlock as soon as you place your pre-order, but it probably won't be available to you when you move on to the next game on October 25th. All additional bonuses included in the Vault Edition are for Black Ops 6.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the first game in the series to release under the Xbox banner. The game has a spy theme, with various notable political figures making cameo appearances throughout the campaign.
Play Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 on Game Pass
Even if you want to play Black Ops 6 on Game Pass, you don't necessarily have to settle for the Standard Edition. Only the base game is included in the Game Passbut if you want the added extras of the Vault Edition, there is the option to purchase everything included separately.
The Vault Edition upgrade costs $30 and can be purchased for Xbox or PC via the Xbox Games Store, the PC version is also available on Steam. We would like to remind you that due to Xbox Game Pass changes over the summer, Black Ops 6 and other day one releases will only be available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
