Shining Force games ranked from worst to best
There are many entries in this legendary RPG series, but which one is the best?
Because Supercell's titles cover multiple genres, we took a number of criteria into account when creating our ranking. We took into account popularity, reviews, gameplay, and frequency of updates, as well as looking at how each game plays compared to similar titles. Every game on this list is free to play, but you can increase your progress by spending money. Free-to-play players can get everything in the game, although it will take more time.

Squad Busters
Squad Busters is similar to Supercell's previous title Brawl Stars. It targets the MOBA and RPG genres with multiple game modes including gem collection, battle royale and team deathmatch. There are also 39 heroes to choose, upgrade and play. You have to develop your heroes, otherwise you won't be able to win against other players. Similar to Brawl Stars, we have categories such as attackers, defenders and healers. This is about creating a balanced team.
What's unique about Squad Busters is that it features characters from other Supercell games including Clash of Clans, Boom Beach and Hay Day. This provides a nice look at some of the developers' other creations. However, Squad Busters can be overshadowed by Brawl Stars, which has been around for much longer.

Boom Beach
- Released: March 26, 2014
- Platforms: Android and iOS
Boom Beach is still one of the best RTS games on the market, despite being around since 2014. You start on your own island, which you develop by building and improving your buildings and defenses. The next step is to expand your dominance across the sea and conquer as much territory as possible by defeating the evil Blackguard. As you progress, new buildings and troops will be unlocked, making your army even more powerful. You can play alone or join a task force and work together with other players.
Unfortunately, Boom Beach doesn't receive as many updates as other Supercell games. Progress can also be very slow at times as you can only build one structure at a time without spending money. However, despite the slow pace, Boom Beach is still very playable.

Hay day

-
Platforms: Android and iOS
While other Supercell titles can require intense strategy, Hay Day is a game where you can simply relax and enjoy the experience. You will grow crops, create goods to sell to others, raise animals, and perform other agricultural tasks. Your farm will grow larger as you progress and new crops, animals and buildings will be unlocked. You can also join a neighborhood and visit your friends' farms and trade resources with them.
Hay Day has the perfect pace and you don't have to think about anything. Although the game doesn't receive many updates, there are still some and new buildings, animals and events are still being added to the game. If you're looking for a relaxing game that doesn't require you to think a lot, Hay Day is one of the best farming games on mobile.

Clash Royale
Clash Royale is the real-time multiplayer card game version of Clash of Clans. In Clash Royale, you build a deck of eight different cards, face off against an opponent, try to destroy their tower, and take over their territory while defending your own. There are many cards that you can unlock as you progress, and all can be upgraded almost endlessly if you have enough cards and gold.
The game is regularly updated with new maps, game modes, arenas and events. But since there are hundreds of cards with so many upgrade options, the game has a big pay-to-win aspect. By paying money you can easily get new cards and progress much faster, which is frustrating for free-to-play players.
However, there are new cards and advancements in Clash Royale that are awarded for game progress and participation in events, even if it requires a lot of effort. There are also occasional events offering free items.

Brawl Stars

December 12, 2018
Brawl Stars is a unique take on the battle royale genre and offers numerous other modes to keep players engaged. In Brawl Stars, you control a Brawler in various 3v3 modes including Gem Grab, Basket Brawl, Heist and Bounty. There is also the Battle Royale, which you can participate in alone or with others.
Brawlers have multiple classes depending on their role, including Attacker, Defender, or Tank, and they can be upgraded up to level 11. You can also equip equipment and gadgets by unlocking them and making the brawler even more powerful.
Brawl Stars offers monthly updates and each new season brings new events, brawlers, skins and more. New content, as well as the variety of game modes and different classes to try out, help keep the experience entertaining. The game also often offers active players free rewards that can significantly increase progress.

Clash of Clans
Clash of Clans has been around since 2012 and is still regularly updated due to its popularity. You start your journey in a small village and must build and improve your town hall, troops and buildings in order to progress and compete with other players. The best way to expand your base is to attack other people's bases and loot them for supplies.
You can join a clan and help your friends by, among other things, using your troops for them. Each clan will develop its own strategy, but a good starting point is to raid smaller clans to improve your own and then take on the larger ones. There are even special clan wars that you can take part in.
Clash of Clans receives monthly updates that bring new events and skins. Some major updates even include additional building levels and a level upgrade for the town hall. The upgrade and building process can sometimes be slow, but magical items will help you shorten it. All in all, Clash of Clans requires sophisticated strategy and base building, making it a good choice for fans of the genre.
