Naraku was the main antagonist of Inuyasha. He was a vicious villain who loved to inflict pain and suffering on others, but above all he was extremely deadly and became very powerful. He was a Hanyo, a hybrid of half-human and half-demon, without the typical weaknesses that come with this race, but he despised his humanity and the weakness that came with it and sought to eradicate it.
Naraku sought the Shikon Jewel, a powerful spherical jewel that grants its wearer limitless power, and used any means possible to obtain it. Eventually, he sought out powerful demons to absorb and incorporate into himself to gain power and get closer to his goal. The story of Inuyasha was much darker than most remember, and besides Naraku's increase in power after piecing together all the shards of the Shikon Jewel, he was a ruthless mastermind who precisely orchestrated and killed many, a villain who would do anything to win.

Formerly the captain of the 5th Division, Aizen was a recurring antagonist of Bleach. He was portrayed as soft-hearted and kind before it was eventually discovered that he had ulterior motives. After a battle with Kurosaki Ichigo, he was eventually defeated and banished from Soul Society. In numerous story arcs and chapters, Aizen is portrayed as extremely malicious and evil, doing extremely horrific things with no regard for who he uses or what means he employs to achieve his goals.
As the anime progressed, Aizen grew stronger with each encounter; at his base level, he was a strong captain, making him a worthy opponent from his first appearance. Aizen subsequently merged with Hōgyoku and became even more powerful, giving him enough power to lead the Espadas through sheer strength alone. Even after he was eventually sealed and trapped in Central 46, he had enough power to influence the world outside of his prison, with his spiritual power being very pronounced and able to be felt by those even far away from him.
