Best decks for the Blizzard event in Clash Royale
Snowstorm is a time-limited event in Clash Royalerun away December 9th to December 16th. As mentioned above, you need to create a deck of eight cards, one of which is predetermined and the rest can be freely chosen. However, some cards will not be available for this event, including:
- Mirror (Epic – Spell)
- clone (Epic – Spell)
- Freeze (Epic – Spell)
- Goblin giant (Epic – Troop)
- Ram rider (Legendary – Troop)
While it makes sense to remove some of these options, foregoing Ram Rider could be a huge hit for players. He is very fast and can do great damage to enemy towers, making him ideal for surviving in the icy winds. But don't worry – there are still plenty of strong alternatives. Here are the top decks for the Snowstorm event in Clash Royale.

During the Blizzard event, your troops will only remain active for a few seconds before completely freezing in place. This happens due to a huge expanse of ice that traps them. The best strategy here is to deploy fast-reacting forces that can cover more territory in less time. Therefore, it is a good idea to avoid units like Giant, PEKKA, Elixir Golem or similar options.
Building troops like the Inferno Tower, Tesla, and Goblin Hut also don't perform well in this event as you have to constantly summon the heat map to keep them active. Slower cards like Night Witch, Mini PEKKA and Firecracker are also not an ideal choice here.

This deck is perfect for the Blizzard event. Heavy builds aren't completely off the table, but they need to be fast and able to deal serious damage to enemy towers – these are worth spending your heat card on.
This deck features three tower-oriented troops: Mega Knight, Golden Knight, and Prince. The Golden Knight's sword ability is great for jumping onto enemies and towers. So don't forget to trigger them. Meanwhile, Bandit, Electro Wizard, and Barbarians are great destroyers that help destroy enemies in your arena.

Since the storm freezes troops mid-battle, it is a wise decision to hold back key fighter cards until the opponent's troops are completely frozen. Fireball is particularly useful for blasting icy enemy clusters or building up building structures.
This event also offers two game modes: 1v1 and 2v2. Additionally, the Blizzard Event introduces a special challenge called Blizzard Rerun, available at December 13th to December 16th In Clash Royale. If you win this challenge you will be rewarded with an exclusive banner frame.
