Dragon ball'S Saiyauner are a breed of fearsome warriors who were almost wiped out when the evil Emperor Frieza destroyed her home world, the planet Vegeta. Emphasis on almost. As Frieza ultimately regretted, some Saiyans have survived the destruction of their planet and would live on to become some of the strongest beings of the universe. You probably know about Goku and Vegeta, but there are a few more who have hardly escaped from extinction.
This article is divided into two sections: one for the canonical Saiyauners who survived and one for those who have survived in non-canonical materials and stories. Dragon ball Has a lot of content, and some of them, like the early films and specials, are considered a non-cannon, although the toei animation also published it. However, they are still worth mentioning, because one day it is possible to get into the canon one day, as it happened to Broly. However, the non-cannon list will only contain the Saiyaunians from films and ovas, since there are far too many surviving Saiyauners from the non-canon games and a lot Super Dragon Ball heroes to mention here.

Goku
The strongest protector in the earth, Kakarot, John Dragonball, whatever you want to call him, son Goku is the main face of the franchise, and it is thanks to everything that he survives the destruction of the planet Vegeta. How did he do that? At first Goku was to have been sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it and was lucky that it had happened shortly before Frieza's genocide. Saiyans are incredibly powerful beings, so they send their boys to claim the planets they consider weak. This was the explanation that Raditz, Gokus older brother, followed Dragon Ball Z Episode 1, “The Arrival of Raditz”.
However, this explanation has been withdrawn since then and the Dragon Ball great: Broly The film provided true history. In it, Goku's parents Bardock and Gine steal a space pod to bring it into it and send it to a distant planet. Bardock had suspected that Frieza was planning to wipe out all Saiyans and at least wanted to save his son. Gine even wanted her and Bardock to come with Goku, but they had risked being discovered by scouters and therefore had to stay. Bardock did not choose the earth because he wanted Goku to conquer them on behalf of the Saiyans, but simply because he believed that his residents were too weak to harm his son. However, the RETCON does not necessarily change the past, as Raditz simply didn't know that his parents were only sending Goku away to save him instead of penetrating the earth.
Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz
These three are all summarized in one because they were all together during the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz were part of an invasion force to conquer an unnamed planet. When Frieza sent the news that all the Saiyajiners ordered to return to the planet Vegeta, Vegeta (the prince) ignored his orders. They hardly knew that the little act of the rebellion saved their lives, like the reason why Frieza wanted all Saiyans to gather so that he could wipe out their entire race in a strike.
In addition, two other unnamed Saiyans were with Vegetas Crew, as shown in the Dragon Ball great: Broly Film. Their fate is unknown, but since they have never been mentioned or seen by again, they probably died at some point before Raditz Goku brought to earth.
Broly and Paragus
Although Broly is initially not canonical, he was brought into the canon world Dragon ball Through the Dragon Ball great: Broly Film. Both Broly and Paragus survive the destruction of their home world in different ways in both the non-canonical and canon.
In the non-cannon version, Broly and Paragus were actually To Planet Vegeta when Frieza destroyed it. They survived by mere power of Baby Broly, who managed a Ki bladder to protect him and his father from explosion and survive until they found a planet on which they can land.
In the new Canon adaptation, King Vegeta banished the young Broly on a border planet because he feared the incredible power of the child and did not want to overshadow his son Prince Vegeta. Paragus forced another Saiyaan, the beet called to go to the planet with him, on which Broly was on the way where they stayed, and so they survived the fate of the planet Vegeta. In terms of beets, it was unfortunately killed by Paragus to obtain the limited food supply on the border planet.

Turles
He may look like Goku, but Turles is in no way related to him. He happens to see how he looks. You can thank Saiyan Genetics for this, but who do you thank for him who survives the surviving planet Vegeta's destruction? Strangely enough, his past was not really explained in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of PowerThe film in which he played. However, however, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Hosts on it and pointed out that Turles was said to have been somewhere in the past on a secret mission.
He was always the troublemaker, he let off his mission and left Frieza's army as a whole to form his own group, the Crusher Corps. It is not known what exactly his secret mission could have been, but when Frieza chased the planet Vegeta into the air, Turles had probably already left the Saiyans and was not near the planet.
Bardock (Art)
Everyone knows that Goku's father Bardock died through Frieza together with the planet Vegeta, but there is a Was-Wäre-Wenn-Ova Calling Dragon Ball: Episode from BardockWhere he survived … in a way. Instead of dying to the beyond and going to the hereafter, Friezas Supernova sends Bardock into the past in a mysterious way. The ambitious Ova hoped to determine how the legend of the Super Saiyajin began, and thanks to Bardock, all of this magically survived.
Tarble
No, this is not Cabba. Tarble is Vegeta's long lost little brother. It appears in an OVA Dragon Ball: The return of son Goku and friends! In search of vegeta and ask for his help.
Although Tarble only occurs in a non-canonical egg cell, it is a real character in the canon, although it is not known whether he actually survived Frieza's supernova or if he did it, nobody knows where he is now. In Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the godsBulma mentions Vegeta to have a brother when they needed another Saiyaner to carry out the Super Saiyajin God ritual. Vegeta confirms his existence, but claims that he has no way of contacting him. In Dragon Ball great: BrolyTarble was again mentioned in a review by Nappa, who wondered if he had survived.
