Witchfire Doesn't like holding hands, especially when it comes to understanding how elements and status effects work. You can combine different elements Activate powerful effects These play a big role in mid and late content, as clearing high Gnosis areas (confidants, bosses, safes, etc.) depends largely on how optimal your gear is.
The good thing is that almost every piece of equipment (weapons, spells, relics, and rings) has a single elemental effect. You just need to know which ones to combine before adjusting your gameplay accordingly. Unfortunately, Witchfire does not list every element combination or explain what it does. This is intentional as it is a Souls-like rogue-lite character. While some elements are quite easy to understand, others can be confusing. So with the following guide, you'll be ready to defeat the witch's hordes in no time.
Witchcraft is an important stat to improve
Witchfire
. It reduces the cooldowns of your light and heavy spells, allowing you to perform elemental combos more often.

All elemental status effects in Witchfire
Witchfire features four status effects, one for each element, which can be applied to enemies in various ways. You can access elemental status effects by unlocking light and heavy spells. Some weapons like the Red Weaver have status effects at Mysterium Level 1 by default, while others like Midas and Hailstorm need to be upgraded to either Mysterium Level 2 or 3.
Your magic items (relics, fetishes, rings) also have status effects, but they take a while to unlock depending on your class Witchfire. Finally, don't forget about certain environmental objects that can be triggered to cause a status effect.
Enemies can also apply status effects, but these affect players slightly differently depending on the element.

All elemental combinations in Witchfire
Any two elements can interact with each other for bonus effects. It doesn't matter what order or how the elements interact. For example, you can use spells and weapons to combine different elements or even two different spells. Witchfirebut does not explain what each combination of elements does. The players have to find out for themselves. You can either honor this design or check the list below to create the best loadout Witchfire.
Limiting yourself to just two elements also limits the Arcana pool to only showing upgrades tied to your main elements.

Witchfire
. The resulting explosions can clear an entire area in seconds, making them extremely effective in enclosed environments like the Wailing Tower or one of the vaults.
You can try the combination with Burning Stake and Ice Stiletto/Frost Cone, which are also some of the best spells out there

.
Every elemental weapon, every spell and every item
Almost all pieces of equipment included Witchfire is associated with a specific element. Most of these can be researched in the Workshop, while others require you to enter a new area or defeat a boss after increasing your Gnosis level. Therefore, no matter what equipment you have, you will always trigger an elemental combo effect unless you stick with a single element.
Since some combos are much stronger, you need to know which weapons, spells, and items belong to which element. This allows you to decide which equipment you want to unlock and upgrade.
