What are boxing games in Infinity Nikki?
“Boxing games” is the slang term for Miraland's version of casual board games, except that these are set up in boxes like a diorama. They can be found in every region of Wishfield. Each area has a different type of boxing game that relates to the history and knowledge of its inhabitants.
All these boxing games form the so-called Folklore guide. The Folklore Guide can be found on your Pear-Pal's second app page after speaking to him Ciceto near the Stylist's Guild in Florawish (use the appropriate warp tower to get there easily). This is where all the boxing games you have seen and participated in are counted and categorized by game type or region. The different boxing games are as follows:
-
Florawish: Crane Flight
-
Breezy Meadow: Marble King
-
Stoneville and Abandoned District: Among Pieceys
-
Wishing Woods: Wishing Orb Express
There are 11 instances In each region there is every type of game to find and win. So you have to explore thoroughly to find them all. They will always be found in and around populated areas and not in the middle of nowhere.
As you play and win these games in each region, gaming expert Ciceto will take note of them and occasionally offer Nikki rewards for her efforts based on her progress. This is in addition to the rewards you receive when you win each boxing game for the first time, including Diamonds and Blings. You will need to visit Ciceto at the same location in Florawish to collect his rewards. To see if new rewards are available, look for a note from Ciceto at the bottom of the Folklore Guide menu.
How to play all boxing games in Infinity Nikki
Any type of boxing game in Infinity Nikki has its own rules and goals that you have to stick to in order to win. Note that while some games like Crane Flight are quite easy, others like Marble King and Wishing Orb Express require a bit more finesse. As long as you understand how each game type works, all you have to do is find the right strategy for each instance.
You can check out the Folklore Guide Collection locations guide for all instances of each individual game. Any boxing games not yet won shine brightly and remain accessible. Once won, the Folklore Guide will check if the instance is completed, and you can only replay the same games through the guide itself.
Crane flight (Florawish)
Crane flight is local in the starting area of Flower wish (accessible from Chapter 1 of the main story questline). Its rules are very simple and straightforward. You take control of a paper crane and must navigate a preset path while avoiding obstacles until you reach the finish line. To avoid trees, lean your paper crane out of the way until you pass.
Crane Flight's more challenging instances also include boulders to dodge and two paths that run parallel to each other instead of just one. To avoid boulders in the way, you must quickly switch to the other path. Watch out for a number of obstacles that will require you to move back and forth frequently while tilting your crane to one side or the other. If you encounter an obstacle, you have to start the game over. However, the pattern of obstacles remains the same, so predicting these hurdles becomes easier each time until you win.
Marble King (Airy Meadow)
Marble King is essentially Miraland's version of soccer meets pinball. Above all, it requires you to have excellent aiming skills. The main goal is to launch the ball along a path that will take it to the target on the opposite side of the board. It is acceptable to hit one of the blockades scattered around the field; In fact, you have to use them to angle and lever the ball into the goal itself.
Among Pieceys (Stoneville and Abandoned District)
Under Pieceys has a simple target but requires sharp eyes and a good memory. The game begins by showing you three Piecey-style nesting dolls and briefly dismantling them to reveal which one has something Fairy sprite hidden inside. Then they close again and the game tries to throw you off track by rearranging the dolls several times and faster and faster. Once it's ready, you have to choose which of the three dolls has the fairy spirit inside.
If you look closely as you switch, you can follow the order and figure out where the original doll with the sprite ends up. However, if you're having trouble following it, you can just guess your way through it until you get it right.
All instances of the game Among Pieceys can be found in both Stoneville and the Abandoned District.
Wishing Orb Express
Wish Orb Express is one of the most strategic boxing games in Infinity Nikki. It requires you to navigate all areas using only one tool – besides your brain. You must successfully guide the fairy spirit through the trees until it reaches the yellow ball that represents the finish line.
To do this, you must use the chip tokens, provided they each have an arrow on them. These represent which direction the fairy spirit can turn and move when it reaches it on the board. So you have to place them in the right places. You can also rotate the chips themselves to change the arrow directions. If the fairy spirit hits a tree on the way, the game ends and you have to start over.
