Aizen is one of the best characters in bleaching. At first glance, he seems to be nothing more than an ordinary commander with a friendly personality. However, towards the end of the Soul Society arc, Aizen reveals his true nature by initiating a betrayal for the ages. It makes for one of the coolest moments in the entire series and sets the stage for future storylines, although there's no denying that this villain was a bit wasted bleachingThis is in the long run.

However, Aizen still has his moments and decimates the strongest Shinigami there is. It takes a lot of effort from Ichigo and his friends to finally defeat this powerful Shinigami once and for all, with Ichigo having to use his strongest attack and sacrifice his powers to put an end to this tyrant's actions. His Bankai may not have been revealed, but Aizen's wealth of power is still pretty impressive. The best of them are listed below.

It's easy to see why sales of the Bleach manga dropped after he was humiliatingly defeated by Ichigo. This villain had the “it” factor, surprising readers with a betrayal at the end of the brilliant “Soul Society” arc and attempting to carry out his nefarious plans by any means necessary. It helped that Aizen had a lot of powers that could amaze enemies and readers alike, using his amazing abilities to train other Shinigami and show them how overwhelmed they were in the face of his overwhelming opposition.

8 Shunpo

Pretty much every competent Shinigami has to master it Shunpo if they want to combat serious threats without too many problems. This technique allows users to move faster than the eye can see, allowing them to dodge powerful moves and catch their enemies off guard.

Although this is a basic technique that almost everyone knows bleachingAizen's mastery is something remarkable. He is so incredibly fast that he can dodge pinpoint attacks with ease. The sheer manner in which he can humiliate his opponents makes Aizen one of the best and most experienced users of Shunpo.

He has mastered this technique so well that he can catch a sword directly with his bare hand without too much trouble. This is just a taste of what Aizen can accomplish with his bare hands, making him a threat regardless of whether he wields his Zanpakuto or not.

Even though Ichigo was at the peak of his powers, Aizen still managed to bring him to the protagonist and pin Ichigo against the ropes for a brief moment during his fight. It's a shame that Nansever was able to see the true extent of his swordsmanship abilities in his Hogyoku form before Ichigo transformed out of nowhere and unleashed a brutal technique that incapacitated Aizen at the cost of his Shinigami powers.

Be immortal It may not be a skill per se, but the sheer number of times Aizen's perseverance has saved him from a difficult situation is to be commended. His resilience has helped him survive some powerful attacks without losing his life, including Ichigo's Mugetsu and Yhwach's attacks.

Aizen gained this immortality after merging with the Hogyoku, with part of this transformation being permanent. This allowed him to gain the gift of immortality, although it was somewhat wasted due to his time in Soul Society's prison. Regardless, this immortality is one of his best powers, and the fact that it ranks lowest on this list means that his other powers are in a class of their own!

Kido is a form of combat in which Shinigami can use spells in combat. Most of the time, their swords and the abilities that come with them are enough for most people to take care of enemies that stand in their way. However, mastering Kido is always a good thing as the user can access a wide range of destructive powers that can destroy even the strongest enemies in the area.

Aizen repeatedly showed off his powers to Kido, making him a force to be reckoned with. Given that his Shikai only has one powerful ability, it makes sense why he would diversify his attack by using Kido. This is one of the reasons why Aizen is such a calculating genius, as he realized that he needed to master his illusory powers and use traditional forms of attack to win battles against the powerful Shinigami.

3 Tremendous Reiatsu volume and control

Reiatsu refers to the spiritual pressure that certain powerful figures can generate to increase the power of their attacks. In a way, this can be compared to a character's power levels, with massive threats that use high levels of reiatsu and can sometimes be difficult to deal with. Some enemies and people are so weak that even the slight release of Reiatsu in their presence is enough to defeat or seriously injure them.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Aizen's Reiatsu is in a class of its own, revealing the true extent of his powers after his betrayal. The fact that he was hiding his reiatsu the entire time made this revelation even more surprising to both the members of the Gotei 13 and the audience. A rather impressive moment where Aizen is able to bend his reiatsu once again is while he is imprisoned and his restraints are easily removed, partially destroying the hands of a guard who attempted to bind him again.

2 Hogyoku fusion

Facilitated a transformation that made him even stronger than before

Ideally, this should be Aizen's strongest power, as his entire being has transformed into something else that can easily hoard and handle large amounts of reiatsu. However, viewers never really got to see the full extent of what this fusion could do, as Aizen was ultimately whipped into shape by Ichigo's newfound powers without too much trouble.

Regardless, there is no denying that Aizen could have easily destroyed everyone in the real world and Soul Society if it weren't for Ichigo's handy powerup. It's a shame because fans were really excited to see an even fight between a powered-up Ichigo and a Hogyoku-fused Aizen, Except the result was so disappointing that it hit the first of many nails bleachingThe coffin.

1 Kanzen Saimin

Incredible hypnotic power with his Shikai

Aizen's strongest ability is also the only technique he has revealed so far. The fact that a powerful figure like Aizen hasn't shown his Bankai yet is quite surprising, but his own Kanzen Saimin is more than powerful enough to deal with the host of powerful enemies that have tried to stop him.

Kanzen Saimin is a power that allows Aizen to hypnotize a person under her control. This is easily one of the most powerful Shikai of all time, and perhaps it's a good thing Aizen never got the chance to show off his Bankai. After all, it's possible that if this character managed to reveal a Bankai that somehow eclipsed his Shikai in power, it would become impossible to defeat!

Aizen's Shikai itself is so powerful that he almost managed to overthrow the entire Soul Society with this power alone. Furthermore, he was also able to fight against Yhwach with this power, triggering the events that led to Ichigo finally dealing a fatal blow to take care of the Almighty once and for all.
