With Strength, Wisdom, Dexterity, and Charisma each serving as recommended core attributes for multiple classes, non-wizard characters with an Intelligence focus are almost non-existent. As soon as the Artificer comes by D&DDuring Wizards of the Coast's testing phase, consider designing a class based on another underrated ability score.

Paying more attention to the constitution in D&D 2024
Constitution is an ability score that gets a lot of attention from players but little attention from D&D designers. Increasing a character's Constitution score is crucial for anyone who wants to play combat-oriented classes such as Paladins, Barbarians, and Fighters Dungeons and dragonssince the score determines a character's hit points. However, since score is such an integral part of a character's stat block – as is the frequency of Constitution saving throws in the average adventure – D&D also makes Constitution a high-priority ability score for every other class in the game.
However, for an ability stat that requires so much attention, Constitution is easily the most passive stat in the game. Every other ability score in the game plays a role in characters' ability bonuses, attack rolls, or spell effectiveness – or all of the above. There are no skills attached to the constitution. It is used only to determine a character's hit points and the modifier they have on Constitution and Concentration saving throws. This makes Constitution an important ability score, but one that provides little satisfaction to anyone who chooses to prioritize it.
How a Constitution-oriented class could make big waves
There are tank classes in D&D who already place an emphasis on high Constitution scores, but rely primarily on other scores to complete their tasks. Paladins, Barbarians, and Fighters typically display their strength more than any other stat. Charisma is also important for Paladins, and Dexterity is used as the primary attack modifier for certain fighter builds.
Wizards of the Coast could give Constitution time in the sun while adding more variety to the front lines of combat with one solution: a dedicated tank class. Unlike the previously mentioned classes, this new class would not be a half-tank focused primarily on DPS. His job would instead be to attract the attention of teammates and absorb damage.
Not only would this class naturally require the number of hit points that a high Constitution score would grant, but WOTC could also incorporate Constitution score into its combat abilities. Imagine having a bulwark of a character on the battlefield who could channel their Constitution to draw aggro, stun enemies instead of just dealing damage to them, and give AC bonuses to allies. This would make Constitution a truly desirable and intriguing stat, rather than one where players simply feel obligated to score one of their higher scores. D&D The year 2024 would benefit from greater diversity in courses, and introducing a Constitution-focused course could be a good way to achieve this.
