Seasonal worlds allow New World: Aeternum to experiment with big changes
From season 7 New World: Aeternum will release seasonal worlds that have different gameplay rules than traditional worlds. New World: AeternumSeason 7 Seasonal World will focus on changes to open-world PvP, specifically always enabling PvP and improving the loot that players drop when killed, among other changes. These seasonal worlds will only be available for a specific season, but depending on player feedback, they could potentially lead to permanent changes to the game's traditional worlds.
What to expect from the new artifacts, perks and balancing changes in New World: Aeternum's Season 7 update
While the new artifacts have not yet been revealed, only one artifact is currently available for earrings, amulets, necklaces, and certain weapon types New World: AeternumTherefore, it is safe to assume that these will be priorities for new artifacts. Matchmaking is coming to M3 Mutated Expeditions New World: Aeternum in Season 7, as well as improved rewards and a new system that unifies mutation modifiers for all featured mutant expeditions. In the past, M3 Mutated Expeditions were often overlooked because they were too difficult and lacked rewards. However, since this update makes M3 Mutated Expeditions simultaneously more accessible and rewarding, players may want to reconsider adding this activity back into their endgame routine.
Similar to M3 Mutated Expeditions, the daily Solo Trials in New World: Aeternum are currently also suffering from a lack of reward. While new Daily Solo Trials will be added in Season 7 that will likely address this issue, the rewards of existing Solo Trials are expected to be improved in future updates New World: Aeternum coming sometime after season 7.
